The fieldpaq II Vibration Tester's optional field balancing software package supports simultaneous, 4-channel data acquisition with a multiple-point balancing technique. 

By conducting coast-down measurements for 1X vibration, the heavy spot can be easily identified with only one measurement saving you time and money while improving safety.

Fieldapaq II Vibration Tester


The fieldpaq II Vibration Tester is a portable, 4-channel, real-time analyzer that is built for advanced noise and vibration measurements in the field. For vibration data acquisition in challenging environments, Fieldpaq II is manufactured with a ruggedized housing, made by a dual injection molding process, and protective sealing to provide an IP65 rating.

FFT Spectrum Analysis Module


The fieldpaq II Vibration Tester's 2- or 4-channel optional FFT Spectrum Analysis Module allows you to conduct cross-channel analysis such as FRF, coherence, and cross power spectrum, as required for modal analysis, ODS testing or sound intensity measurements. It also supports continuous spectral measurements and waterfall display for vibration testing of varying-speed machines.

With the FFT Spectrum Analysis Module, the fieldpaq II portable vibration analyzer also supports bearing vibration analysis as a standard feature. By taking advantage of demodulation technology, one may see the fault frequencies on a demodulated spectrum to detect early bearing damage.

Octave Spectrum Analysis Module


The optional Octave Spectrum Analysis Module utilizes real-time digital filtering technology to generate octave, 1/3 octave or 1/12 octave spectrum. Conforming to the IEC 61260 & IEC 61672 standards, the Octave Spectrum Analysis Module is suited for acoustic or vibration data acquisition in the field. For vibration applications, the program can perform measurements with user-defined weightings. For example, the fieldpaq II Vibration Tester can perform measurements with the specified weighting of ISO 6954, ISO8041, ISO2631 and more. When measuring floor vibration, the fieldpaq II portable vibration analyzer can display the VC curves on the spectrum, providing real-time evaluation of the vibration severity in the field.

Rotor Balancing Module


The fieldpaq II Vibraiton Tester's Rotor Balancing Module supports simultaneous, 4-channel measurements with a multiple point field balancing technique. Now with multiple-point balancing, vibration is minimized in BOTH horizontal and vertical directions at the same time. By enabling coast-down measurements for 1X vibration, the heavy spot is identified correctly with only one measurement, saving you time and money by eliminating the use of trial weights. It also eliminates safety concerns from placing the trial weights in the wrong location.

Vibration Meter


Overall vibration level is a basic parameter for determining a machine’s operational condition. By simulating the operation of an analog vibration meter, fieldpaq II performs time domain integration, filtering, and root mean square (RMS) calculations, for accurate measurements of vibration levels. One to four channels can be measured at the same time, displaying the results to a trend chart, bar chart, or continuously recorded to a data file. Easily check vibration severity against the built-in ISO 10816-3 standard.
